Mount Vernon Farmer's Market

Beginning its 8th season the Mt. Vernon Farmer's Market has grown from less than 10 vendors on the opening day to average over 50 vendors each week. The market was started as an effort to connect local growers and consumers with safe, fresh food to eat. All of the products must be grown or produced within 25 miles of the market location by the vendor selling the product(s).
A wide variety of products are sold including: apples, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, cut flowers, green beans, sweet corn, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and baked goods. No crafts are permitted at the market.
New vendors should seek out the market manager to receive a spot to set-up as established vendors have precidence on booth location. A vendor participation agreement is available in .pdf format below.
The market opens the first Saturday in June and runs through the last Saturday in October each year from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. and is located on the Public Square in Mt. Vernon.
The 2008 season begins on Saturday June 7th and will run weekly thru October 25th.
